Breakfast Fellowship

|
St. Paul Women's Ministries' activities provide opportunities for fellowship,
Bible study, leadership, use of talents, learning, service to others, prayer
and spiritual growth, friendships, mission work and evangelism. All women
are encouraged to participate in activities as their time permits.
Fellowship programs are held monthly during September through June,
with speakers, demonstrations, devotions and luncheon or refreshments.
Daytime programs are on the first Thursday of the month, beginning at 10:00
a.m.
St. Paul women serve the Lord and enrich
their faith by:
-
participating in JOY groups---small groups which gather in members' homes
or church for Bible study, fellowship and service
-
mission projects (generating income for missions, e.g., crafts bazaar and
turkey dinner in November and rummage sales in spring and fall)
-
mission service through Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) activities
.visiting shut-ins and nursing homes .Altar Committee service
-
charitable and outreach activities, e.g. to Madisonville Educational Assistance
Center (MEAC) and Prince of Peace Church in Over-the-Rhine
-
Federation Auxiliary activities for Drake Hospital and nursing homes .hospitality
to members and visitors
-
volunteer leadership in putting one's faith and talents together to serve
the Lord!

Mission of Women’s Ministries
The mission of Women's Ministries is to assist each woman of St Paul Lutheran
Church in realizing or recognizing the importance of her relationship to
the Triune God so that she is motivated to use her gifts in ministry to
the people of our congregation, the community and the world. |
