Calling All Singers
Joyful Voices Needed
For September 23 and 30

Have you ever thought about helping your fellow congregants in worship by lending your voice to the St. Paul choir? Ever said to yourself, “No, I just can’t make that kind of time commitment for a full nine months at a stretch…” or “I’m not sure I can learn the music, singing parts can be pretty difficult at times…” ???

If so, do we have a deal for you! As many enthusiastic singers as possible are needed to support congregational singing for the two Lutheran Service Book introduction services on September 23 and 30. (See the Music column in this month’s issue for more details.) There will be a mix of familiar and new material, none of it difficult. And much of the choral singing will be unison—or at least offer the opportunity for you to sing just melody if that is more comfortable than parts.

You need attend only three Wednesday evening rehearsals, starting September 5, if you’re willing to help. And who knows—you might even want to stay on! Contact Faith Ebert or Emily Adams for more details.
