We support missionaries, share the Gospel in our local and extended communities and support human car agencies that make a positive difference in lives. Congregational
Attitude and Caring
The Pastor, elders and members will play an integral role in modeling Jesus by providing a loving and caring atmosphere as we support the spiritual and physical needs of all members, Village residents and others.Communication Infrastructure
The community of believers at St Paul Lutheran Church will foster a culture of open communication, which includes history, sources of support and member knowledge in a way that welcomes and assimilates current and potential members. This will be done to insure that all members receive information enabling us to share it with our shut-ins, inactive members, students and others needing the support of a Christ centered community of believers.Music
Music is very important part of the worship experience for members of St. Paul. A variety of music is appreciated from voice to chorus to instrumental and needs to be uplifting, audibly pleasant, easy to sing, and faithful to scripture.Young Adults
The young adults including those of college age are an essential element of this congregation. They truly are the future of this church. it is critical that we listen to them and strive to involve them into all aspects of the church. The church will foster an environment that will encourage young adults to be active members of the congregation.Worship
The worship experience of St Paul will revolve around the faithful preaching of Scripture. We rejoice in our traditional liturgy but we are open to the changes in worship style for the ever-evolving congregation.Visitors
Visitors represent an opportunity for St Paul to share our joy in being a part of a vibrant Christian family. We will demonstrate an attitude of friendliness and helpfulness.Missions/Evangelism
Understanding that the call of the Church in the world is to spread the Gospel to everyone, St Paul will be active and consistent with financial and spiritual support of missionaries who are faithful to sharing the pure Gospel. St. Paul will also seek opportunities to share the Gospel in our local and the extended communities.Fellowship
We are a congregation that enjoys gathering together outside of worship and believes that fellowship is just another wonderful opportunity to show our love and concern for one another. By offering diverse fellowship opportunities we will strive to involve ALL members of the congregation.Education
Through a variety of Educational opportunities and materials, St Paul will offer instruction that is biblically sound according to the LCMS Doctrine.Community Outreach
St Paul will be involved in outreach to the local and extended communities by financially, physically and spiritually supporting human care agencies that make a positive difference in the lives of those it seeks to support. Our ability to reach out to others will he a result of our commitment to serving our Lord.
Pastoral St Paul’s spiritual leader will be characterized by a dynamic, stable, caring, trustworthy, and personable individual who motivates and inspires through preaching and teaching. Such qualities will enable the membership to apply what they hear to their everyday lives. It is essential that the shepherd and the congregation be committed to a team approach between the office of the ministry and the members. Pastor’s family involvement is essential. Building relationships with all facets of the membership, old to young, is deemed critical to discharging the responsibilities of the Call.
