Internet Stuff
Robert D. Mercer Recent Additions To The St Paul Web Site A web site is an active thing so if you have not been to the St Paul site for a while you may have missed some of the most recent additions.
Adjustments The “smallest” update was the result of a conversation with one of the three visitors who found us recently by our web site. Service times were added under the sanctuary picture on the opening page. Service times are on the site but when the visitor had to call for our service times it was clear they needed to be center front. The call also pointed out a link error. If you visit www.stpaulcinci.org and encounter a problem please let me know at
(robertmercer@cinti.net) so I can correct the problem.Luther Tour Luther Tour pictures are posted on the youth pages of the St Paul web site. You can reach them by going to www.stpaulcinci.org > Youth > Luther Tour. The pictures show clearly what a great time our youth had learning first hand about Luther and his times. (It looks cold too. Ed.)
MIMIC All of the MIMIC reports are on the St Paul web site. They are very interesting reading. If you want to know what the members of the other study groups have been doing take a few minutes and go to www.stpaulcinci.org MIMIC (lower left). There are some really great thoughts shared in the groups reports.
Emily Adams
Reception
The pictures that are (were) in the Narthex of the Farewell Reception for Emily Adams are shared also on the St Paul web site at www.stpaulcinci.org >Emily’s Picture (lower right). The Narthex pictures will be moved to the bulletin board at the MCCC entrance in early March.
Weekly Email Reminders In mid February St Paul started sending out a weekly activity reminder to all members who have email addresses in the new Church Directory. This does not take the place of News N’ Notes which has a general announcement format. The Email Reminder is activity orientated. If you would like to be added to this reminder email send an email to me (robertmercer@cinti.net or to the church office at stpaulcinci@yahoo.com. Information for the Weekly Reminder can also be sent to me at robertmercer@cinti.net.In late February we will be disposing of the last of the “computer hardware” left after our school closed. This is what other schools did not want. The items that are remaining qualify as “bits and pieces”. There are five old computer systems that have been patched together using the remaining components. They are all outdated but working. There are several printers and three scanners. If your system has the drivers they will work but we do not have the printer driver software. There are also three power backups, various cables and computer speakers. If interested in any of the items listed below contact Robert Mercer (robertmercer@cinti.net) and set up a time to see what is there. (Sundays are good.) If you find something you can use you can have it for a donation to the church. All of the items listed below will be taken to the Cincinnati Computer Cooperative at the end of February for recycling.
